2011 Appellate Advocacy Seminar October 3-4 - New Orleans, LA
Sponsored by the Bar Association of the Fifth Federal Court, this program offers you an opportunity to learn the inside workings of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit. You will observe actual oral argument and learn from Appellate Judges what they consider to be effective oral argument and brief writing practices. You will also gain valuable insight into the workings of the Fifth Circuit from professionals in each department. In addition, you will hone your writing skills with a two hour writing workshop.
